11/10/1956161 November 10, 1956 A special meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield was called to order in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall on Saturday, November 10, 1956, at 11:00 A.M., pursuant to notice of said meeting sent to each Trustee on November 8, 1956 by order of Trustees Brown, Kelley and Meyer. The Clerk called the roll and reported the following were Present: Joseph W. Brown Carl J. Jaeger Hubert N. Kelley Raymond T. Meyer Absent: John D. Schneider, President Martha White Clark Maurice C. Petesch and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting. On motion by Trustee Kelley, seconded by Trustee Jaeger, and carried unanimously, Trustee Meyer was appointed President pro tem. The meeting was adjourned to the anteroom on the second floor, and was recenvened there by the President pro tem. A notice was read of a public hearing. at 8:30 P.M., November 15, 1956 at the Glenview Village Hall on a petition to rezone approximately five acres between Waukegan Road and the Milwaukee Railroad approximately 1/2 mile. south of Cook Lake County Line to I -2 Heavy Industry. Resolution Opposing Trustee Kelley moved, seconded.by Trustee Rezoning to I -2 Jaeger, that the following resolution be adopted: RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois, opposes the petition for an amendment to the.Zoning Ordinance of Cook County to rezone the propebty as: The North 380.10 feet (except the North 10 acres) of that part of the Southeast quarter of Section 4, Township 42 North, Range 12, East of the Third Principal Meridian, lying east of the easterly right of way of the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad and west of the center line of Waukegan Road in Cook County, Illinois from F (Farming) District to I -2 (Heavy Industry District); and further RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees of said Village requests the Zoning Board of Appeals of Cook County to deny the above described petition. Adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Brown, Jaeger, Kelley, Meyer (4) Nays: None (0) On motion by Trustee Jaeger, and sec , the meeting was adjourned.
