The adjourned meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Deerfield was called to order by the President in the Council 0hambers of
the Village Hall on Monday, April 23, 1956 at 9:00 P.M. the Clerk called
the roll and reported the following were

Trustee Brown moved, seconded by Trustee Meyer, that a Wayne street sweel;er
be purchased from C. C. Fuller Company, Chicago, at their bid price of
$10,250.00. meeting all specifications, delivery in 14 to 21 days, with
used electric broom filling machine, and 6,000 mile guarantee. Adopted by
the following vote:

Approve Mehan's Resub. The Plan Commission recommended approval of
Lots 49.50, Deerfield Acres Perry Mehan's resubdivision of Lots 49 and
50, Deerfield Acres Subdivision. Trustee
Clark moved, seconded by Trustee Meyer, that the Board concur in the recom-
mendation of the Plan Commission, and the subdivision be accepted, subject
to deposit of $3700 in an escrow account, and payment of review fees for

extension of water main, sanitary add storm sewers. Adopted by the
following vote:
Ayes: Brown, Clark, Kelley, Meyer, Petesch (5)

Approve Scheskie's Sub. The Plan Commission recommended approval of
Lot 5, Caldwell's Sub. Scheskie's resubdivision of part of Lot 5,
Caldwell's Subdivision. Trustee Clark moved,
seconded by Trustee Kelley, that the Board concur in the recommendation of
the Plan Commission, and the subdivision be accepted, subject to filing of
the final drawing of the plat. Adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Brown, Clark, Kelley, Meyer; Petesch (5)
Nays: None (0)
Approve Foley Subdivision The Plan Commission recommended approval of
Lot 15,Northwoods Sub. Foley's Subdivision of part of Lot 15, McGuire
and Orr's Northwoods Subdivision. A petition
signed by 11 neighboring property owners was presented ppposing said sub-
, division. Trustee Kelley stated the subdivision complied with all require-
ments of the Loning Ordinance. Trustee Clark moved, seconded by Trustee
Meyer, that the Board concur in the recommendation of the Plan Commission
and Foley's Subdivision be approved. Adopted by the following vote:
Ayes; Brown, Clark, Kelley, Meyer, Petesch (5)
Nays: None (0)
Mr. Rupp, Village Manager, reported that the Liebling zoning suit had
been referred to a special Master in Chancery, and that plaintiff's testi-
mony had been completed in the Capital Company suit.
There being no further business ,to come before the meeting, on motion
.by Trustee Brown, seconded by several, the meeting was adjourned.
