The adjourned meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Deerfield was called to order by the President in the :Council Chambers of
the Village Hall on Monday, February 27, 1956 at 6:00 P.M. The Clerk
called the roll and reported that the following were
Present: John D. Schneider, President
Joseph W. Brown
Martha White Clark
Carl J. Jaeger
Hubert N. Kelley
Raymond T. Meyer
Maurice C. Petesch
Absent: None
and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting.
Withdraw Obiection - A letter from Mr. Amstutz, County Superintendent
Deerfield Rd. Clover Leaf of Roads, suggesting that the Village Board re-
consider its objection to the Deerfield Road
clover leaf at the Toll Road. The Board agreed, with Trustee Petesch dis-
senting, that the objection be withdrawn. President Schneider was requested'
to write Mr. Amstutz notifying him of this decision.

Approve Forest Park Trustee Clark moved, seconded by Trustee Brown,
Subdivision that the plat of Forest Park Subdivision be approved,
and the President be authorized to sign said
plat, all conditions having been complied with. Adopted by the following
vote:
Ayes: Brown, Clark, Jaeger, Kelley, Petesch (5)
Nays: Meyer (1)
Resolution - Special Trustee Kelley moved, seconded by Trustee
Assessment Foreclosure Brow#, that a resolution be adopted authorizing
Low, Block 2, H.O.Stone's foreclosure of delinquent special assessments
Addition to Deerfield on Lot 13, Block 2, H. 0. Stone's Addition to
Deerfield, with a guaranteed bid of 50 %. Adopted
by the following vote:
Ayes: Brown, Clark, Jaeter, Kelley, Meyer, Petesch (6n
Nays: None (0)
Resolution - Special Trustee Kelley moved, seconded by Trustee Brown,
Assessment Foreclosure that a resolution be ddopted authorizing fore -
Lot 75, Deerfield Acres closure of delinquent special assessments on
Lot 75, Deerfield Acres Subdivision, with a
guaranteed bid of 50%.
Carried unanimously.

Carried unanimously.
Trustee Kelley moved, seconded by Trustee Meyer,
that a resolution be adopted authorizing fore-
closure of delinquent special assessments on
Lots 11 and 12, Block 12, Deerfield Park Land
and Improvmment Association Subdivision, with a
guaranteed bid of 50 %.
Authorize Plan -14- Miles The Plan Commission recommended that a planner
Village Limits be employed to prepare a development plan of
for the area between the Village limits and the
Toll Road. Trustee Clark moved, seconded by
Trustee Brown, that the Village Manager be authorized to prepare a tentative
plan for the area within one and one -half miles of the Village limits, at a
cost of not to exceed $50.00 Adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Brown, Clark, Jaeger, Kelley, Meyer, Petesch (6)
Nays: None �0)
A letter was received from the American Government class at Highland
Park High School, thanking the Board for courtesies shown them on Student
Government bay.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, on motion
by Trustee Jaeger, seconded by Trustee Kelley, the meeting was adjourned.
