for injunction, for a declaratory judgment and other relief filed by t ?:e

Hesolution - Changes Trustee Meyer moved, seconded by Tryistee Brown, that
Sewage Treatment Plant the following resolution be adopted:
WHEREAS, the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois desires to
amend the .Agreement entered into with Mercury Builders, 5412 W. North Avenue,
Chicago 39, Illinois, on October 24, 1955, which Agreement provides for certain
sewage treatment plant construction within the Village of Deerfield to be
done by said Compapy, and
WHEREAS, said work is to be done under the supervision of Baxter and
Woodman, Civil and Sanitary Engineers, retained by the Village for said
supervision;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of the Village
of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois, that the said engineers are hereby
authorized and instructed to issue such Bulletins and other documents as may
be necessary to:
Add a 10 ft. deeper sub - basement lift station, and all necessary
appurtenances, less flume and grinder, to the work of constructing the sewage
treatment plant in accordance with plans and phecifications as approved by
the Village of Deerfield.

to develop the west parkway of Kipling Place�as.a parking Area was referred
to the Safety Council for study.
Approve Sales Office Trustee Kelley moved, seconded by Trustee Clark,
731 Pine - Deerfield Park . that -..a,, pexmit:.be:.granted-.the Chicago: Construction
Company to use the residence at 731 Pine Street
as a sales office for a period of one year, and the request for a temporary
parking*:lot permit be.referred to the Plan Commission for public hearing.
Carried unanimously.
Elowson Appeal Denied In the matter of the appeal by Mr. Elowson from
the denial of a Building Permit, the Building Board
of Appeals recommended that the structure be held in violation of Article III,
Sections 13 and 14 (as amended) of the Deerfield Building Code, and that it be
removed or altered as required. Trustee Clark moved that the Board concur in
the recommendation of the Building Board of Appeals, and a six month period be
allowed to comply with the provisions of the Building Code, or the structure
be removed. Motion failed for lack of a second. Trustee Meyer moved,
seconded by Trustee Kelley, that the Board concur in the recommendation of
the'Building Board of Appeals, and that Mr. Elowson be notified to remove the
stored lumber within thirty days, and to comply with Article III, Sections 13
and Was amended) of the Building Code, or. removed the building. Adopted by
the following vote:

Accept Easement - The easement granted by Franken Bros., Inc. for
S.W..Interceptor Sewer the southwest interceptor sewer was accepted,
said easement being a strip of land 15 feet wide,
the center line of which is descibed as follows:
Commencing at the center line of Section 32, Township 43 North, Range 12, East
of the Third Principal Meridian, thence East 900- 00' -00" along the east and
west center line of said Section 358.25 feet to a point, which point shall be
the point of beginning; thence North 4° -20' west a distance of 206.12 feet to
a point, thence North 37 -35' West a distance of 176.62 feet to a point, thence
North 469- 37' West a distance of 307.45 feet to a point three feet more or
less east of the North and South center line of Said Section 32, thence North

the World Wide Brokerage Corporation requested the improvement of
Jonquil Terrace, the developer to install water and sanitary sewer, the
pavement and storm sewer by special assessment. Trustee Meyer moved,
seconded by Trustee Clark, that the Village Manager be authorized to refer
the petition to property owners for consent for the improvement by special
assessment.
Carried unanimously.

Terrace Vacation that an ordinance be enacted vacating Maplewood
Terrace, subject to the right of the Village or
grantee to maintain, replace or install utilities. Adopted by the following
