The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield
was called to order by the President in the Council Chambers_ of the Village Hall
on Monday, June 13, 1955 at 8:10 P.M. The Clerk called the roll and reported that
the following were

and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting.
Minutes of the regular meeting held May 9, 1955, and the adjourned
meeting held May 23, 1955 were approved.

Appoint John E. Keal that John E. Keal be appointed Deputy Treaaurer-
Deputy Treasurer- Collector Collector, effective 12:01 A.M., June 20, 1955.

Authorize Purchase Forke -Jaeger, that purchase of the Forke property on
Property - $2500 plus Waukegan Road ha authorized at a cost of $2500.00
Costs plus closing costs. Adopted by the following vote:

Trustee Jaeger moved, seconded by Trustee Petesch,
Ordinance - $125.000 that an ordinance be adopted providing for the

icipal Building Bonds issue of $125,000 Municipal Building Bonds at an
interett rate not to e2ceed 3T1%, and providing
for an election on the proposition at a later date. Adopted by the following
vote:

The Village Manager was authorized to sign a maintenance contract with
the National Cash Register Company at a cost of $182.40.
The Village Manger expressed his appreciation and thanks to Mr. Earl Paul
for his fine work in serving the Village As Treasurer. Trustee Petesch moved,
seconded by Trustee Jaeger, that the Manager write to Mr. Paul expressing his
and the Board's appreciation for the fine work accomplished.
Carried unanimously.
Residents of Central, Osterman, and L'oodward Avenue discussed sewer and
flooding problems with the Board.
Trustee Brown stated he would meet with residents of Hovland Subdivision
to discuss road and drainage porblems.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, on motion duly
trade and seconded, the meeting was adjourned.' "
