OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, THE PROPOSAL, "SHALL THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD,
ILLINOIS, IMPOSE A SURCHARGE OF UP TO 50 CENTS PER MONTH
PER NETWORK CONNECTION ON TELECOMMUNICATION CARRIERS,
WHICH SURCHARGE EXPENSE WILL BE ADDED TO THE MONTHLY BILL

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION Authority. Chapter 134, Section 45.3 of the
DIT-- 1nois Revised Statutes provides that the
corporate authorities of the Village of Deerfield
shall submit the question of establishment of a 9 -1 -1 emergency
telephone system to the electors of the Village of Deerfield in
accordance with the provisions of general election law.
SECTION Purpose. It is the purpose of this Resolution

of the Village of Deerfield, Illinois, at the next
general election to be h..,1d November 8, 1988, the proposition
"Shall the Village of Deerfield, Illinois, impose a surcharge of up

SECTION Notice. The Village Clerk shall cause notice of

statement of the proposition set forth in Section Two hereof.
