AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO
CLASS A SPECIAL USE - C -1 VILLAGE CENTER DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield has
heretofore held a public hearing on the application of DAWN
FAMIGHETTI (the "Applicant "), to authorize the development and
use of certain real estate described on Exhibit A hereto for a
Class A Special Use as an expanded beauty salon with related
sales on the ground floor level under and pursuant to the
provisions of Articles 5.01 -C, 1, d and 13.11 of the Zoning
Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield; and
WHEREAS, at the time of its establishment the existing and
proposed expanded uses of the Subject Property were Permitted
Uses which thereinafter became Special Uses as a result of
subsequent amendments to the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of
Deerfield applicable to first floor uses in the C -1 Village
Center District; and
WHEREAS, said hearing was held pursuant to duly published
notice thereof and was in all respects held according to law; and
WHEREAS, following consideration of the recommendations of
the Plan Commission by the President and Board of Trustees, the
President and Board of Trustees have considered and reviewed the
proposed Class A Special Use as an expanded beauty salon with
related sales, as submitted by Applicant; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Deerfield have determined that the best interests of the
Village will be served by the authorization and granting of said
amended Class A Special Use in accordance with all the testimony
and evidence presented by the Applicant for the Subject Property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the President and Board of Trustees do hereby
ONE: affirmatively find the Amendment to Special Use,
as hereby authorized, fully complies with the
requirements and standards set forth in Articles 5.01 -C, 1, d and
13.11 of the Village Zoning Ordinance and the Class A Special Use
of the_ Subject Property, as an expanded beauty salon with related
sales, be and the same is, hereby authorized and approved subject
to the conditions hereinafter set forth.

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO

SECTION That the approval and authorization of said
TWO: Amendment to Class A Special Use of the Subject
Property as and for the use as more specifically
described above and as hereby granted is subject to the condition
that the Amendment to said Class A Special Use conform to all
other applicable codes, ordinances and regulations of the Village
of Deerfield.
SECTION That any violation of any of the conditions
THREE: hereinabove set forth by the Applicant or its
successors, grantees, transferees or assigns shall
authorize the revocation of the Amended Class A Special Use
hereby authorized.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to
FOUR: publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
FIVE: effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication, as provided by law.
