O-87-25ORDINANCE NO. 0 -87- 25 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 0 -8641 ' AND PROVIDING FOR THE DISCONNECTION OF CERTAIN -PM ERTY LOCATED AT TELEGRAPH ROAD AND NORTH AVENUE FROM THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD FOR ITS ANNEXATION TO THE VILLAGE OF BANNOCKBURN, ILLINOIS WHEREAS, this Board has heretofore passed its Ordinance No. 0 -86- 11 on April 7, 1986, providing for the disconnection of certain property f rom the Village of Deerfield pursuant to Section 7 -1 -24 of the Illinois Municipal Code (Ill. Rev. Stat. ch. 24, §7- 1 -24); and WHEREAS, it has been learned that the legal.description contained in said Ordinance No. 0 -86- 11 was incorrect; and WHEREAS, the correct legal description for the territory to be dis- connected has been obtained; and WHEREAS, Mr. B. William Zawadzki, the petitioner for disconnection upon whose petition Ordinance No. 0 -86- 11 was t aced, has withdrawn said petition and submitted in its place a new petition requesting the discon- nection of a certain parcel of land less than 160 acres in area and situated within the Village of Deerfield, Illinois, and contiguous to the Village of Bannockburn, Illinois, and described as follows: That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 29, Township 43 North, Range 12., East of the Third Principal Meridian in the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois which lies west- erly of the westerly right -of -way line of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad and easterly of the easterly right -of -way line of Telegraph Road, all in Lake County, Illinois. which petition requests.that pursuant to Section 7 -1 -24 of the Illinois Municipal Code (Illinois Revised Statutes 1985, Ch. 24, par. 7- 1 -24), said land be disconnected from the Village of Deerfield and annexed to the Village of Bannockburn, Illinois;. and WHEREAS, an accurate map of the above - described property is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A ", and made a part hereof.
