ORDINANCE NO. 0 -86 -05
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LAND
TO THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, written Petitions for Annexation under oath by LaSalle
National Bank, as Trustee under the provisions of a Trust Agreement
dated June 21, 1984, and known as Trust No. 108870 and LaSalle
National Bank, as Trustee under the provisions of a Trust Agreement
dated June 21, 1983, known as Trust No. 106579 (collectively the
"Owners ") as the owners of record of certain territory hereinafter
described in Exhibits A -1 and A -2 hereto has been filed with the
Village Clerk requesting that said territory be annexed to the
Village of Deerfield pursuant to the terms of a certain Annexation
Agreement entered into by the Owners and Tollway North Land Venture,
an Illinois General Partnership and Tollway North Office Center, an
Illinois General Partnership (the "Developers ") and the Village of
Deerfield; and
WHEREAS, said territory is not within the corporate limits of
any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Deerfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That all the territory described on Exhibits A -1 and
TWO: A -2 attached hereto and made a part hereof and the
full rights -of -way of all included and adjoining
streets and highways as shown on an accurate map of such territory
which is attached hereto and made a part hereof a Exhibit B, be and
the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Deerfield, Lake and
Cook Counties, Illinois pursuant to the terms of the aforementioned
Annexation Agreement.
SECTION That the Village Clerk of the Village of Deerfield is
TWO: hereby directed to file in the office of the Recorder
of Deeds of Lake County, Illinois, being the County in
which said annexed territory is situated, a copy of this Ordinance,
together with an accurate map of the territory hereby annexed.
ORDINANCE NO. 0 -86 -05
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
THREE: from and after its passage and approval, and when a
copy thereof with an accurate map is recorded in the
Office of the Recorder of Deeds, Lake County, Illinois, thereupon
said territory shall be subject to the jurisdiction and ordinances
of the Village of Deerfield, Illinois.
