ORDINANCE NO. 0 -83 -31
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A CERTAIN
STREET IN THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
WHEREAS, The President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Deerfield, after due investigation and consideration, have determined that the
nature and extent of the public use and the public interest to be subserved is
such as to warrant the vacation of the street hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities have previously entered into an
agreement dated June, 1982, among certain parties which provides for the
devolution of the title-.to the property within the street in the event of a
subsequent vacation:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That a public street in the Village of Deerfield,
ONE: having heretofore been dedicated by a document
recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of
Lake County, Illinois., which street is legally described on Exhibit A hereto
attached and as shown on and designated by the words "Hereby Vacated" on the
Plat hereto attached, which Plat for greater certainty is hereby made a part
of this Ordinance, be and the same is hereby vacated, inasmuch as the same is
no longer required for public use and the public interest will be subserved by
such vacation.
SECTION That upon effectiveness of the vacation, title to the
TWO: property described on Exhibit A shall revert to the
:. '.:.. American National Bank and Trust., Company of Chicago,
not individually but as Trustee under a Trust Agreement dated May 7, 1981, and
known as Trust No. 52504.
SECTION:: That upon passage and approval of this Ordinance,
THREE: the Village Clerk shall file for record in the
Office -of the Recorder of Deeds of Lake County,
Illinois, a copy of this Ordinance, together with the Plat hereto attached.
SECTION That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
FOUR: herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby
repealed.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
FIVE: from and after its passage, approval and filing for
record in the manner herein provided.

NAYS: None (0)
ABSENT: Jackson, Swanson (2)
