AN ORDINANCE GRANTING VARIATIONS FROM THE PROVISIONS
OF CHAPTER 20 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE.OF DEERFIELD
WHEREAS, First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Wilmette has made
application to the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield for approval of
a Special Use for a Drive -In Savings and Loan Facility on certain real estate
hereinafter described and to be reclassified in the C -1 Village Center District
of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield; and
WHEREAS, said application was considered at a public meeting of the Plan
Commission and was, in all respects, held according to law; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield, after considering
the evidence adduced, recommended that said Special Use Application and Rezon-
ing Petition be approved subject to certain conditions and restrictions and
noting that, as proposed, the Plan of Development contained driveways onto
Osterman Avenue exceeding the width limitations imposed by the Municipal Code
of the Village of Deerfield, as amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That upon issuance of the Special Use Permit as aforesaid for the
ONE: proposed development of the real estate legally described on
Exhibit A attached hereto and as set forth and described in the
Special.Use Application, the inbound driveway on the Osterman Avenue driveway
shall be permitted to have a width of 14 feet in lieu of the maximum of 12 feet
as required by Chapter 20 of the Municipal Code of the Village of Deerfield.
SECTION That the approval of said variation to the Municipal Code is
TWO: subject to the further condition that, except as may be otherwise
provided, the developer shall comply with all requirements of the
Zoning Ordinance and all other applicable ordinances of the Village of
Deerfield.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this
THREE: Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
FOUR: after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
