COMMONLY KNOWN AS 430 BRIERHILL ROAD.; DEERF,IELD', ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, MR. AND MRS. BRAD SHAW have petitioned for a variation from the strict
provisions of Article 2.2 -4, 1 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield,
passed April 17, 1978, as amended, to permit the construction of a room addition
resulting in a 101 foot front yard.in lieu of the required 120 foot minimum as estab-
li..shed by other . resi - dences in the same block; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to notice duly published, as required by statute, a public
hearing on said petition was held and conducted by the Zoning'Board ofAppeals of the
Village of Deerfield; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has filed with the President and Board of
T "rustees i-ts written findings of fact and recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFI.ELD, LAKE AND .COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION
That the fi.ndi.ngs of fact and recommendation of the
Zoning Board of

Appeals are concurred in and adopted
as the findings
of fact of the
President and Board of Trustees.
SECTLON:
That there are practical difficulties
and particular
hardships in the
TWO:
way of carrying out the strict letter
of the provisions
of the Zoning
Ordinance of.the Village of Deerfield
as applied to
Petitioner's
property, which
is legally described as follows:
Lot 18 in BrierhiA 1, a subdivision of the West half of the.East
half of the Northeast Quarter except the North 8.10 chains
thereof and the North 5.94.60 feet of the East.60 feet of the East
half of the West half of the.Northeast Quarter of Section 33, Town-
ship 43 North, Range 12, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in
Lake County, I.11inoi.s.
SECTION That a variation from the strict provisions of Article 2.2 -4, 1 of
THREE: the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield, passed.April 17,
1978,.as amended, with respect to the property hereinabove described,
i.s hereby granted so as to permit the construction of a room addition resulting in a
101 foot front yard i_n lieu of the required 120 foot minimum as established by other
residences i.n the same block; all in accordance with the plans presented and filed with
the Zoning Board of Appeals.
SECTION That the vari.ati.on hereby granted is subject to compliance by the
FOUR. Petitioners with all other applicable provisions of the Zoning Ordin-
ance and with all other applicable ordinances of the Village of
Deerfield.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
FIVE: after i-ts passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
