AN ORDINANCE AMENDING A SPECIAL USE FOR A SYNAGOGUE WITH
ACCESSORY USES AS A RELIGIOUS SCHOOL AND PUBLIC RECREATIONAL,
CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL FACILITY AT THE WILMOT ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDING
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Deerfield have pre-
viously adopted Ordinance No. 78 -32 approving a Special Use for the Wilmot
School Administrative Building permitting the use of said structure for a
Synagogue, Religious School and a Public Recreational, Cultural and Educational
facility; and
WHEREAS, the Petitioners, Board of Education of School District No. 109
have requested an amendment to said Special Use to permit the establishment of
a nursery school on said premises, the enrollment of which is not to exceed
twenty (20) students per session; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield has heretofore
held a public hearing on the application of the BOARD OF EDUCATION OF SCHOOL
DISTRICT 109 to authorize the amended Special Use and occupancy of the Wilmot
Administrative Building, Deerfield, Illinois, and hereinafter described, to
permit said nursery school under and pursuant to the provisions of Articles
7.2, 7.6 -2 and 13.11 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield; and
WHEREAS, said hearing was held pursuant to duly published notice thereof
and was in all respects held according to law; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield, after considering
the evidence adduced, made written findings of fact and recommended that said
amended Special Use of said real estate be approved and authorized subject to
certain conditions and restrictions hereinafter set forth.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the findings and recommendations of the Plan Commission are
ONE: concurred in and adopted as the findings of the President and
Board of Trustees and the amended Special Use of the real estate
legally described below to include a nursery school, be and the same is hereby
authorized and approved.
The North 180 feet of the West 255 feet of the
Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of
Section 32, Township 43 North, Range 12 East of
the Third Principal Meridian in Lake County, Illinois.
SECTION That the approval and authorization of said amended Special Use
TWO: hereby given is subject to the requirements that all use, con-
struction and development shall be in accordance with all plans
and representations submitted and made by Applicant to the Plan Commission and
President and Board of Trustees, is subject to compliance by Applicant with
all other applicable provisions of the Zoning Ordinance and all other appli-
cable ordinances of the Village of Deerfield, and is specifically subject to
the requirement that the nursery school enrollment shall not exceed twenty (20)
students per session.
SECTION That the approval and authorization of said amended Special Use
THREE: hereby given is subject to the requirement that this Ordinance
shall be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Lake
County, Illinois, and all fees and such recordation and expenses incurred
therefor shall be paid by the Applicant.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this
FOUR: Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
FIVE: after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
