AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 22.129 AND 22.129A OF
CHAPTER 22 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975
SECTION That Section 22.129 entitled "Definitions" of Article 16 of
ONE: Chapter 22 of the Municipal Code of Deerfield, as amended, be
and the same is hereby further.-amended by adding thereto sub-
section (a) (10) as follows:
"(10) Lot No. 10 - Located on the north side of Deerfield
Road east of Park Avenue containing forty -four (44) parking
spaces."
SECTION That Section 22.129A entitled "Parking fees" of Article 16 of
TWO: Chapter 22 of the Municipal Code of Deerfield, as amended, be
and the same is hereby further amended by deleting subsections
(a) and (b) in their entirety and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
(a) No vehicle may be parked in any of Lots 3, 5, 6, 7,
8 or 10 without paying the parking fees established there-
for. Parking in Lots 6 and 7 shall be limited to residents
of the Village of Deerfield as evidenced by display of a
current Village of Deerfield vehicle license. The parking
fee for parking in Lots 3, 5, 7 and 8 shall be twenty -five
cents ($0.25) for each twenty -four (24) hour period, and in
Lots 6 and 10 the parking shall be ten dollars ($10.00) per
month, payable in advance, for a three (3) month period.
Permits to park in Lots 6 and 10 shall be issued on a
first -come first - served basis.
(b) In addition to those penalty provisions prescribed
in Section 22 -158 of this Article, any person violating any
provisions of this Section may have his vehicle towed from
any of Lots 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10, impounded by the Village
and shall thereafter be assessed an impounding charge of
fifteen dollars ($15.00) and a storage cost of five dollars
($5.00) per day or fraction thereof for each day the vehicle
is impounded.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this
THREE: ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here -
FOUR: with are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
FIVE: and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by
law.
