AN ORDINANCE VACATING A CERTAIN STREET
IN THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield,
upon the petition of ATTILIO FLORI and the recommendation of the Plan Commis-
sion of the Village of Deerfield, and after due investigation and consideration,
have determined that the nature and extent of the public use and the public
interest to be subserved is such as to warrant the vacation of the street
hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the following described real estate in the Village of
ONE: Deerfield, having heretofore been dedicated for public street
purposes by a document recorded in the Office of the Recorder
of Deeds of Lake County, Illinois, on May 4, 1957, as Document No. 950343,
Book 1539 of Plats, Page 599, commonly known as a thirty (30) foot wide strip
along the southern boundary of 1035 Broadmoor, Deerfield, Illinois, as shown
on and designated by the words "Hereby Vacated" on the Plat hereto attached,
which Plat, for greater certainty, is hereby made a part of this Ordinance, be
and the same is hereby vacated, inasmuch as same is no longer required for
public use and the public interest will be subserved by such vacation.
SECTION That the Village of Deerfield reserves its interest in all
TWO: existing easements for public utilities, if any, in the
vacated portion of said street which is hereinabove described.
SECTION That, upon passage and approval of this Ordinance and upon the
THREE: payment of the sums by the abutting owner as hereinafter pro-
vided, the Village Clerk shall file for record in the Office of
the Recorder of Deeds of Lake County, Illinois, a certified copy of this
Ordinance, together with the Plat hereto attached.
SECTION That all ordinances or.parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
FOUR: are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
FIVE: after its passage and approval and upon the payment of the sum
of Five Hundred Fifty ($550.00) Dollars by the owner of the
real property abutting said portion of the street to be vacated and upon
filing for record in the manner hereinabove provided.
