AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 19 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
OF 19751, AS AMENDED
BE .IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF.THE VILLAGE OF
DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION. Section 19 of the Municipal Code of the Village of Deerfield
ONE: of 1975, as amended, be and the same is hereby further
amended by deleting Section 19 -3 in its entirety and substi-
tuting in lieu thereof the following:
"Sec. 19 -3. Bond. Each applicant shall file a bond in the
amount of FIVE .THOUSAND AND NO /100THS ($5,000.00) DOLLARS,
with .surety to be approved by the Village Board conditioned
to indemnify the Village for any loss or damage resulting
from the work undertaken or the manner of doing the same."
SECTION Section 19 of the Municipal Code of the Village of Deerfield
TWO: of 1975, as amended,.be and the same is hereby further
amended by deleting Section 19 -32 in its entirety and substi-
tuting in lieu .thereof the following:
"Sec. 19 -32. Bond. No such permit shall be issued unless
and until the applicant therefor has filed with.the Director
of Building and Zoning a bond in.the:sum of FIVE THOUSAND AND
NO /100THS ($5,000:00) DOLLARS conditioned to indemnify the
Village for any loss, liability or damage that may result or
accrue because of the making or existence of such excavation."
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this
THREE: ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this ordinance shall remain in full force and effect
FOUR: from and after its passage, approval and.publication as
provided by law.
