O-75-64i r ORDINANCE NO. 0 -75- 64 AN ORDINANCE FOR THE CONDEMNATION OF PROPERTY FOR THE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF A BRIDGE AND PUBLIC STREET BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION That it is necessary and in the best interest of the Village ONE: that the Village acquire the real property as described in Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part of this Ordinance, which said real property is necessary, required and needed for the installation and maintenance of a bridge and public street. SECTION That Norris W. Stilphen, Village Manager, and James K. Stucko, TWO: Village Attorney, be and they are he authorized, empowered and directed for and on behalf of the Village to negotiate with the owner or owners of the real estate herein described for the purchase thereof by the Village. SECTION That in the event that the said Village Manager and Village THREE: Attorney are unable to agree with the owner or owners of said real estate upon the compensation to be paid therefore, then said easement, as described on Exhibit A attached hereto, shall be acquired by the Village, and James K. Stucko, as attorney for the Village, is hereby authorized, empowered and directed to institute proceedings in any court of competent jurisdiction to acquire title to and possession of said real property upon, over, under, along and across said real estate for the Village in accordance with the eminent domain laws of the State of Illinois. SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from FOUR: and after its passage and approval as provided by law.
