ORDINANCE NO. 0 -75- 64
AN ORDINANCE FOR THE CONDEMNATION OF PROPERTY
FOR THE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF A BRIDGE AND PUBLIC STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That it is necessary and in the best interest of the Village
ONE: that the Village acquire the real property as described in
Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part of this Ordinance,
which said real property is necessary, required and needed for the
installation and maintenance of a bridge and public street.
SECTION That Norris W. Stilphen, Village Manager, and James K. Stucko,
TWO: Village Attorney, be and they are he authorized, empowered
and directed for and on behalf of the Village to negotiate with
the owner or owners of the real estate herein described for the purchase
thereof by the Village.
SECTION That in the event that the said Village Manager and Village
THREE: Attorney are unable to agree with the owner or owners of said
real estate upon the compensation to be paid therefore, then
said easement, as described on Exhibit A attached hereto, shall be acquired
by the Village, and James K. Stucko, as attorney for the Village, is hereby
authorized, empowered and directed to institute proceedings in any court of
competent jurisdiction to acquire title to and possession of said real property
upon, over, under, along and across said real estate for the Village in
accordance with the eminent domain laws of the State of Illinois.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
FOUR: and after its passage and approval as provided by law.

quarter of Section 34, Township 43 North, Range 12, East of the
3rd P. M., more particularly described as follows: Beginning*
at the point of intersection of the extension South Westerly of
the northerly line of Carriage Vlay, a dedicated public street,
with the Westerly line of the Ease ent for the Middle Fork of
the North Branch of the Chicago River; thence Westerly along a
curve to the right having a radius of 40.00 feet, an arc distance
of 23.32 feet to a point of tangency; thence North 81 degrees 19
minutes 20 seconds West,' a distance of 139.67 feet to• a point of
curvature; whence North Westerly along a curve to the left,
having a radius of 100.00 feet, an arc distance of 58.29 feet
to a point of tangency; thence South 65 degrees 16 minutes 46

Middle Fork of the North Branch of the Chicago River) thence
South Westerly at right angles to said center line and on the
extension South Westerly of the Northerly line of Carriage Way,
aforesaid, a distance of 50.00 feet to a point of curvature;
thence South Westerly along a curve to the left, having a radius
of 40.00 Feet, an arc distance of 23.32 feet to a.point of
tangency; thence North 81 degrees 19 minutes 20 seconds West. a
distance of 139.67 feet to a point of curvature; thence North
Wlesterly along a curve to the left having a radius of 100.00
