ORDINANCE NO. 0 -75 -46
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A SPECIAL USE
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A UNITED STATES' - POST - OFFICE
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield has heretofore
held a public hearing on the application of the United States Postal Service
to authorize the use and occupancy of certain real estate commonly known as
655, 707 and 713 Osterman Avenue and 640, 700, 706 and 712 Central Avenue,
Deerfield, Illinois, and hereinafter described, for construction of a United
States Post Office, being a special use under and pursuant to the provisions
of Sections XI and XXIII of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield;
and
WHEREAS, said hearing was held pursuant to duly published notice thereof
and was in all respects held according to law; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield, after considering
the evidence adduced, made written findings of fact and recommended that said
special use of said real estate be approved and authorized subject to certain
conditions and restrictions hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE,'BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the findings and recommendations of the Plan Com-
ONE: mission are concurred in and adopted as the findings of
the President and Board of Trustees and the special use
of the real estate legally described as follows:
Lots 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 in Block 2 in Hall and Osterman's
addition to the town of Deerfield in the Northwest Quarter
of Section 33 and the Northeast Quarter of Section 32, Town-
ship 43 North, Range 12, East of the Third Principal Meridian.
According to the plat thereof ,recorded June 2, 1874 in Book "A"
of plats, page 16, in Lake County, Illinois.
as and for a United States Post Office, be and the same is hereby authorized
and approved.
SECTION That the approval and authorization of said special use
TWO: hereby given is subject to the requirements that all use,
construction and development shall be in accordance with
all plans and representations submitted and made by Applicant to the Plan
Commission and President and Board of Trustees, is subject to compliance
by Applicant with all other applicable provisions of the Zoning Ordinance
and all other applicable ordinances of the Village of Deerfield.
SECTION That the approval and authorization of said special use
THREE: hereby given is subject to the requirement that this
Ordinance shall be recorded in the Office of the Recorder
of Deeds of Lake County, Illinois, and all fees for such recordation and
expenses incurred therefor shall be paid by the Applicant.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish
FOUR: this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance.shall be in full force and effect
FIVE: from and after its passage, approval and publication
as provided by law.-
