AN ORDINANCE GRANTING VARIATIONS FROM THE
PROVISIONS OF THE'ZONING ORDINANCE WITH RESPECT TO
THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT
11323 'WOODLAND DRIVE,: DEERFIELD
WHEREAS,.JACK MATHIS,,has petitioned for variations from
the strict provisions of Sections VII,C,l and VII,C,2 of the'Zoning
Ordinance'of the Village of Deerfield, passed May 4, 1953; as amended,
to permit z front yard,.in part, of 34 feet in lieu of the required
40 feet and a 7 'foot one inch 'side yard in lieu of the 're_quired' 8
feet; and
WHEREAS, pursuant.to notice duly published as required by
statute, a public hearing on said Petition was held and conducted
by the'Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Deerfield; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has filed with the
Presiderit and Board of Trustees its written findings of f act and
recommendations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION • That .the 'f indings of fact 'and recommendations
ONE:. of the' Zoning Board of Appeals are hereby con-
curred in and adopted as the findings of fact of the Presiderit -and
Board of Trustees.
SECTION That there are practical difficulties and
TWO:. particular hardship in the way of carrying out
the strict letter of the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance of the'
Village'of Deerfield as applied to Petitioner's. property., which'is
legally described as follows:
The West 1/2 of Lot 16 and all of Lot 17,in
Block 71n Branigar Bros. WoodlanePark,.a
subdivision of parts of the North 1/2'of
Section 29, Township 43'North,,Range 12.East
of the Third Principal Meridian, according
to the Plat thereof,.recorded August 5th,
1924 as Document No. 243980,,in Book M of
Plats, Pages 84 and'85, in Lake County,
Illinois
'SECTION.- That variations from the strict provisions of
THREE:. Sections VII,C,1 and VII,C,2'of the Zoning
Ordinance of the Villageof Deerfield with respect .to the property
hereinabove described, are hereby granted sous to authorize the
construction of an addition to an existing garage, thereby permit-
ting a front yard, in part, of 34 feet in lieu of the required
40 feet and a side yard of 7 feet one inch'in lieu of the required
8 feet.
'SECTION , That the variations hereby granted are `subject
'FOUR: to compliance by Petitioner with all other
applicable provisions of the'Zoning Ordinance and withall other
applicable ordinances of the Village and, further, Petitioner shall
comply in all respects with the plans suubmitted and representations
made to the Zoning Board of Appeals.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
EIVE:, effect from and after its passage and approval
as provided by law.
