AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION
FROM THE PROVISIONS OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE
WITH RESPECT TO THE PROPERTY LOCATED
AT 757 DEERFIELD' ROAD, DEERFIELD, 'ILLINOI'S
WHEREAS, AMELIO FRAGASSI has petitioned for a certain
variation from the strict provisions of the Zoning Ordinance of
the Village of Deerfield, passed May 4, 1953, as amended; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to notice duly published as required by
statute, a public hearing on said Petition was held and conducted
by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Deerfield; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of- Appeals has filed with the
President and Board of Trustees its written findings of fact and
recommendations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the findings of fact and recommendation of
"ONE: the Zoning Board of Appeals are hereby-concurred
in and adopted as the'findings of fact of the President and Board of
Trustees.
SECTION That there are practical difficulties and
TWO: particular hardship in the way of carrying out
the strict letter of the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance'of the
Village of Deerfield, as applied to Petitioner's property, which is
legally described as follows:
Lot 4 in Bleimehl's Subdivision of part of Sections 32
and 33, Township 43 North, Range 12, East of the Third
Principal Meridian according to the Plat thereof
recorded October 7, 1909, in Book "H" of Plats, page
45, as Document No. 124960 in Lake County, Illinois,
commonly known as 757 Deerfield Road, Deerfield,
Illinois.
SECTION That a variation from the strict provisions of
THREE: Section XVII -B of the Zoning Ordinance of the
Village of Deerfield, passed May 4, 1953, as amended with respect

to the property hereinabove described, is granted so as to permit
the erection and maintenance of a wall sign, 80 square feet in
area, on the rear wall (facing Deerfield Commons Shopping Center)
of the building on the above - described premises, and which sign,
in addition to bearing the name of the business, may include the
names of manufacturers of products sold on the premises and all
in accordance with the plans presented and filed with the Zoning
Board of Appeals which are by reference incorporated herein.
SECTION That the variation hereby granted is subject to
FOUR: compliance by Petitioner with all other applicable
provisions of the Zoning Ordinance and all other applicable ordinances
of the Village.
.SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
. FIVE: effect from and after its passage and approval
as provided by law.
