AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION
FROM THE PROVISIONS OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE
WITH RESPECT TO THE PROPERTY LOCATED
AT 757 DEERFIELD ROAD, DEERFIELD, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, AMELIO FRAGASSI has petitioned for certain
variations from the strict provisions of the Zoning Ordinance of
the Village of Deerfield, passed May 4, 1953, as amended; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to notice duly published as required by
statute, a public hearing on said petition was held and conducted
by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Deerfield; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has filed with the
President and Board of Trustees its written findings of fact and
recommendations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION
ONE:
in and adopted as
of Trustees.
That the findings of fact and recommendation of
the Zoning Board of Appeals are hereby concurred
the findings of fact of the President and Board
SECTION That there are practical difficulties and
TWO: particular hardship in the way of carrying out
the strict letter of the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance of the
Village of Deerfield, as applied to Petitioner's property, which
is legally described as follows:
Lot 4 in Bleimehl's Subdivision of part of Sections 32
and 33, Township 43 North, Range 12, East of the Third
Principal Meridian according to the Plat thereof re-
corded October 7, 1909 in book "H" of Plats, page 45
as Document No. 124960 in Lake County, Illinois,
commonly known as 757 Deerfield Road, Deerfield,
Illinois.

SECTION That variations from the strict provisions of
THREE: Section V -18 and Section XVII -B of the Zoning
Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield, passed May 4, 1953, as
amended with respect to the property hereinabove described,.are
granted so as to permit the erection and maintenance of a free-
standing sign having a set back of 35 feet 5 inches from the center
line of Deerfield Road in lieu of the required 40 feet and en-
croaching 2 feet 7 inches into the required 5 foot front yard which
sign in addition to bearing the name of the business, may include
the names of not more than two manufacturers of products sold on
the premises and all in accordance with the plans presented and
filed with the Zoning Board of Appeals which are by reference
incorporated herein.
SECTION That variations hereby granted are subject to
FOUR: compliance by Petitioner with all other applicable
provisions of the Zoning Ordinance and all other applicable
ordinances of the Village.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
FIVE: effect from and after its passage and approval
as provided by law.
