WI-iERE1l�S' said para.de�wil'l require the, closing of I].l.i.noi.s State Route,
Deerfield Road (unnuwrnbered) from i-lie east linnits of the Village to Chestnut
Street, either partially or compl.etel.y; and Illinois State Route 43 from the
intersecl�ion of Route 43 and Deerfield Road north to Greenwood Avenue,
either partially or coi -pletel.y; and
WHEREAS, the State of 11.1inois requires the Village to assume. all
responsibility and liability involved in the closing of said highway:
NOW, TIIEREFORI.;, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mla.yor and Board. of
Trustees of the Village of Deerfi.el.d that said Village assumes fu.l.l responsi-

bility for the direction, protection, and regulation of traffic during the time
the d.etour is in effect, and all liabilities for damages of any kind occasioned
by the closing of said State Routes, for which the State would otherwise be liable.
It is further agreed that efficient, a.l.l- weather detours wi.l.1 be maintained
and conspicuously marked, for the benefit of traffic deviated from the State
Routes.
Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, Illinois,
this 19th day of June, 1972.
