• RESOLUTION TO RECOMMEND
• REBATE OF SURPLUS FUNDS
IN SPECIAL ASSESSMENT NO'S'.' 94 AND '97
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS:
SECTION That this Board finds that in the special assessments
ONE: to pay the cost of curb and gutter improvements to
Wilmot Road, designated as Deerfield Special Assessment No. 94, and to
pay the cost of water and sewer -main improvements to Rosewood Avenue,
designated as Deerfield Special Assessment No. 97, there has been a
final settlement with the contractor for such improvements and full
payment has been made of all bonds and vouchers issued on account
of such improvements, leaving a surplus amount, which is available
for reimbursement to the public benefit fund and for rebate to the
owners of each lot, block, tract or parcel against which such tax was
assessed in accordance with the attached Schedules A through D.
SECTION That this Board declares, and recommends that the
TWO: Board of Trustees of this Village pass an ordinance
setting forth the finding in SECTION ONE hereof directing reimbursement
of the public benefit fund and declaring a rebate upon each lot,
block, tract or parcel of land assessed in the said special assessment
equal to its pro rata proportion of the surplus available for rebate
in said assessment as shown in the attached Schedules. Said rebate
shall be paid to the owners of- record of each such lot, block, tract
or parcel of land at the time of the declaration of the rebate.
SECTION That this Board shall keep and exhibit publicly in
THREE: its office an index of said special assessment
warrants upon which rebates are due and payable. Upon production of
original receipts or other proper proof, the rebate shall be paid by
the Village�Treasurer to the persons entitled thereto.
