ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20.338
OF CHAPTER 20 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 20:338 of Chapter 20 of the
ONE: Municipal Code of Deerfield of 1963, as
amended, be and the same is hereby further
amended by striking said section in its entirety and sub-
stituting in lieu thereof the following:
20.338 Trucks Prohibited on Certain Streets.)
a) It shall be unlawful to drive any truck
except for the purpose of making a delivery
and then for one block on any street so des-
ignated by ordinance and properly sign
posted.
b) The following streets are hereby
declared to be streets upon which truck•
traffic is prohibited except as provided
in subsection a above:
Longfellow Avenue
Hermitage Drive
SECTION That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
TWO: in conflict herewith, are, to the extent
of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed
THREE: to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet
form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force
FOUR: and effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication, as provided by
law.
