ORDINANCE NO. 0 -68- 2
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING VARIATIONS FROM
THE PROVISIONS OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE
WITH RESPECT TO THE PROPERTIES COMMONLY
KNOWN AS 765 WAUKEGAN ROAD AND
657 DEERFIELD ROAD IN DEERFIELD, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the First National Bank of Lake Forest, as
Trustee under Trust No. 974, has petitioned for variations
from the strict provisions of the Zoning Ordinance of the
Village of Deerfield, passed May 4, 1953, as amended; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to notice duly published as required
by statute, a public hearing on said petition was held and con-
ducted by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Deer-
field; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has filed with
the President and Board of Trustees its written findings of
fact and recommendations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT
AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND
COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the findings of fact and recommenda-
ONE: tions of the Zoning Board of Appeals is
hereby concurred in and adopted as the
findings of fact of the President and Board of Trustees.
SECTION That there are practical difficulties and

out the strict letter of the provisions
of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield as applied
to Petitioner's properties which are legally described as follows:

Lot 1 in Owner's First Addition to Deerfield, being a
Subdivision of part of the North Half of Section 33,
Township 43 North, Range 12, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, according to the plat thereof recorded Septem-
ber'25, 1915, as Document 161061 in Book J of Plats,
pages 46 and 47, in Lake County, Illinois, and commonly
known as 765 Waukegan Road.
Lot 2 in Owner's First Addition to Deerfield, being a
Subdivision of part of the North Half of Section 33,
Township 43 North, Range 12, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, according to the plat thereof recorded Septem-
ber 25, 1915, as Document 151061, in Book J of Plats,
pages 46 and 47 in Lake County, Illinois, and commonly
known as 657 Deerfield Road.
SECTION That variations from the strict provisions
THREE: of Sections V -18, Section XIV, D -1 and
D -2 -D of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village
of Deerfield, passed May 4, 1953, as amended, with respect to the
properties hereinabove described, are hereby granted so as to
permit a second floor addition to the present structure with a
40 -foot extension to the East, 37 -1/2 feet from the center line
of Deerfield Road, in lieu of the required 40 feet; and also to
permit the existing building to be 37 -1/2 feet from the center
line of Waukegan Road; the projection of the existing concrete
roof to the property line; and a variation of 3.75 feet at the
South property line.
