AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FROM
THE PROVISIONS OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE
WITH RESPECT TO THE PROPERTY COMMONLY
KNOWN AS :500 :WAUKEGAN .-ROAD..:DEERFIELD
WHEREAS, KITCHENS OF SARA LEE, INC. has petitioned
for a variation from the strict provisions of the Zoning
Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield passed May 4, 1953,
as amended, to permit the erection of a roof structure to
a height not to exceed fifty -four feet on that portion of
its building complex located at 500 Waukegan Road, Deerfield,
Illinois, known as the "holding freezer "; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to notice duly published as required
by statute, a public hearing
conducted by the Zoning Board
Deerfield; and

President and Board of Trustees its written findings of fact
and recommendations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the findings of fact and recommendation

curred in and adopted as the findings of

SECTION That the variation hereby granted is subject
FOUR: to the condition that there be compliance
by the petitioner with all other applicable
ordinances of the Village.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force
FIVE: and effect from and after its passage and
approval, as provided by law.

Hall & Osterman's Addition to the Town of Deerfield, Illinois
(according to the plat thereof recorded in the Recorder's office
on June 2, 1874, in Book of Plats on page 16), said Southwest
corner being 20 feet south of the Southeast corner of Woodman's
