AN ORDINANCE CALLING A
SPECIAL ELECTION
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Deerfield, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois,
that:
1. There is a vacancy in the office of Municipal Justice
due to the failure to elect a Village Magistrate at the regu-
lar election held in April, 1961.
2. There shall be a special election in the village on
the 5th day of May, 1962 to elect a Municipal Justice to fill
the vacancy in the office, to serve until a successor .is elect-
ed to and qualifies for the said office.
3. The ballot used at the said election shall be sub-
stantially the following prescribed by statute for a regular
election for village officers., A sample ballot shall be pub-
lished in the DEERFIELD REVIEW not less than five days before
the date set for the election.
4. Not less than fifteen days nor more than thirty days
before the election the clerk shall cause to be published in
the DEERFIELD REVIEW a notice of election which shall be sub-
stantially in the following form:
NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION.
On the fifth day of May, 1962, there will be a special elec-
tion in the Village of Deerfield to elect a Municipal Justice to
fill the vacancy in that office for the unexpired term.
The Election Precincts and Polling Places for such election
shall be:

PRECINCT 4. All that part of the village lying
north of the center line of Deer-
field Road and west of the Chicago,
Milwaukee, St.Paul and Pacific Rail-
road's right -of -way.
POLLING MAPLEWOOD SCHOOL
PLACE :' CLAY COURT - DEERFIELD
Polls at such election will be open at six o'clock
A. M. and close at six o'clock P.M.
