" AN ORDINANCE of the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of
Deerfield, Lake and Cook Counties,
Illinois, awarding sale of $125, 000
Water Revenue Bonds, Series of 1960
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deer-
field, Illinois, heretofore on February 10, 1960, passed an Ordinance entitled
"AN ORDINANCE creating an issue of
$125, 000 Water Revenue Bonds, Series
of 1960, of the Village of Deerfield,
Lake and Cook Counties, Illinois. "
and awarded sale of said bonds to A. C. Allyn and Company, .Incorporated and
Scott & Kegley, Inc., of Chicago, Illinois, to bear such rate or rates of inter-
est not exceeding Six Per Cent (67) per annum, and to be payable at such pay-
ing agent as specified by the Ordinance providing for delivery of said bonds to
said purchasers in. accordance with the contract of purchase of said purchas-
ers. at an interest cost to said Village of less than Six Per Cent (697) per an-
num, and
WHEREAS, A. C. Allyn and Company, Incorporated and Scott & Keg-
ley, Inc. of Chicago, .Illinois, are now willing to accept delivery of said bon
at a price of $122, 735.00 in accordance with their contract of purchase, as
aforesaid, and said President and Board of Trustees determine that it is now
necessary to designate the paying agent for the said bonds and to specify the
rates of interest the said bonds are to- bear in full compliance with the terms
and provisions of said Ordinance adopted on February 10, 1960, authorizing
the said bonds, as. aforesaid..
NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the .President and Board of
Trustees. of the Village of Deerfield, Lake and Cook Counties, Illinois, as
follows: .
Section 1. That said $125, 000 Water Revenue Bonds, Series of 1960,
bedelivered to A. C. Allyn and Company, .Incorporated and Scott & Kegley,
,Inc, of Chicago, Illinois, at a price of $122, 735.00 and accrued interst from
November 1, 1960, to the date of - delivery and payment thereof, being at an.
interest cost to said Village of Deerfield of 4.3898%, and that said bonds
shall bear intlest as follows:

and the Village. Treasurer is. hereby authorized and directed to deliver said
bonds to said purchaser against payment therefor in- accordance with said.
contract of purchase and the .terms of said Ordinance adopted February 10,
1960, as aforesaid, authorizing the issue of said bonds.
Section 2. That the President, Village Clerk, Village Attorney, and
Village Treasurer are each hereby authorized, directed and empowered,
without further order of the President and Board of Trustees. of the Village of
Deerfield, to execute said $125, 000 Water Revenue ,Bonds:, Series of 1960,
herein described, and to deliver the same in accordance herewith and to ex-
ecute and deliver such certificates, agreements. and proceedings as. may be
necessary or convenient for the delivery of the said $125, 000 Water Revenue
Bonds, Series of 1960, in accordance herewith, and all proceeds received .
from the delivery and the payment of the said. bonds. shall be accounted for
used. and held for .use as recited in said Ordinance adopted February 10, 19.60,
authorizing the issue of said $125, 000 Water Revenue Bonds, Series of 1960.
Section 3. That .interest upon the said $125, 000 Water Revenue Bonds,
Series of 1960, at the several rates hereinabov:e specified, shall be evidenc(
by coupons to be attached to each of said bonds, and such interest at such ra
as aforesaid, shall be payable May 1, 1961 and semiannually on. May 1 and
.November 'l of each year until paid (the coupons otherwise due on May 1, 19,
and .November 1, 1960, to be cancelled prior to delivery of said bonds), and

both the principal of and interest on the said bonds. at the said. rates herein-
above specified shall be payable in lawful money of the United States of Amer
ica at the .LaSalle National Bank, Chicago, Illinois, in. accordance with all of
the terms. and provisions. of said Ordinance adopted February 10, 1960,
authorizing the said bonds.
Section 4. That except as her-einabove specified, the said $125, 000
Water Revenue Bonds, Series. of 1960, shall be dated, numbered, of the :de-
nomination, shall mature and be subject to redemption prior to maturity and.
shall be in such form, all as further described and provided in. said Or-dinanc
adopted February 10, 1960, as aforesaid, and all of the provisions-, terms,
conditions and covenants in said Ordinance adopted February 10, 1960,
.authorizing the said bonds and providing for the security, payment and re-
tirement of .the said bonds are hereby in all respects confirmed.
PASSED, ADOPTED. AND APPROVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, ,Lake and Cook Counties, Illinois, this
23rd day of November , 1960.
