AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP
OF THE ZONING ORDVNANCE OF THE VILLAGE
OF DEERFIELD (SOIL TESTING SERVICES PROPERTY)
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield, pursuant to
proper notice,,has held a public hearing upon the request of the owner of
certain property proposed to be annexed to the Village to zone or classify
said.property. which is hereinafter described, in the "M" Manufacturing
District; and
WHEREAS, said Plan Commission has recommended that the President and
Board of Trustees amend the Zoning Map of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village
of Deerfield so as to zone and classify said property in the "M" Manufacturing
District; and
WHEREAS, said property has been duly annexed to the Village of Deerfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the Zoning Map of the Village of Deerfield included
ONE: and made a part of the Village of Deerfield Zoning Ordi-
nance, passed May 4, 1953, as amended, is hereby further
amended by zoning and classifying the following described property in the "M"
Manufacturing District:
All that part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of
Section 4, Township 42 North, Range 12, East of the Third Principal
Meridian described as follows: Commencing at the point of inter-
section of a line parallel to and fifty (50) feet East of the West
line of said Section 4 and the North line of the Illinois Toll Road,
said North line being 250.20 feet North of the South line of the North-
west Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 4; thence East
along said North line of the Illinois Toll Road 327.57 feet; thence
North on a line drawn to a point 371.22 feet East of the Northwest
corner of said Section 4 (as measured on the North line of said Section
4) hereinafter referred to as Line "A ", for a distance of 241.50 feet;
thence West parallel with the North line of the-Illinois Toll Road
aforesaid 326.12 feet (more or less) to a point in a line fifty (50)
feet East of and parallel to the West line of said Northwest Quarter
aforesaid; thence South along said last described parallel line to the
place of beginning, all in Cook County, Illinois,

Section 4, Township 42 North, Range 12,'East of the Third Principal
Meridian described as follows: Commencing at the point of inter-
section of a line paralle to and fifty (50) feet East of the West line
of said Section 4-and the North line of the Illinois Toll Road, said
North line being 250.20 feet North of the South line of the Northwest
Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 4; thence East along
said North line of the Illinois Toll Road 327.57 feet; thence North on
a line drawn to a point 371.22 feet East of the Northwestscorner of
said Section 4 (as measured_on the North line of said Section 4) here-
inafter referred to as Line "A ", for a distance of 538.36 feet for a
point of beginning; thence West along a line parallel with the North
line of the Illinois Toll Road aforesaid 324,37 feet (more or less)
to a line parallel to and fifty (50) feet East of the West line of
said Section 4; thence North along last described parallel line to
its point of intersectmon with a line fifty (50) feet South of and
parallel to the North line of said Section 4; thence East along said
last described Oahallel line to its point of intersection with the
center line of the Union Drainage District Ditch Easement; thence South-
easterly along said center line of the Union Drainage.District Ditch
Easement to its point of intersection with Line "A"; thence South along
Line "A" to the place of beginning (except that part hereof described
as follows: Commencing at a point on the North line of Section 4
aforesaid, 371.22 feet East of the West line thereof; thence South at
900 to the said North line of Section 4, 275.73 feet to the center
line of Union Drainage District Ditch Easement for a point of begin-
ning of the exception to be described; thence continuing South on the
last described line 92.52 feet to a line drawn 70.0 feet Southwesterly
of and parallel to said center line of Union Drainage District Ditch
Easement; thence Northwesterly along said parallel line 300.0 feet;

South along said.Line "A "', 296.85 feet, to the ,point of beginning,
in Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION That this Ordinance .shall be in full force and effect from

as amended, is hereby further amended by zoning and classifying
the following described property in the "M" Manufacturing Dis-

All that part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter of Section 4, Township 42 North, Range 12, East
of the Third Principal Meridian described as follows:
Commencing at the point of intersection of a line parallel
to and fifty (50) feet East of the West line of said
Section 4 and the North line of the Illinois Toll Road,

of said Section 4;thence East along said North line of

Toll Road aforesaid, 324.37 feet, to Line "A" aforesaid;
thence South along said Line "A ", 296.85 feet, to the
point of beginning, in Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
