AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FROM
THE PROVISIONS OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE
WITH RESPECT TO*THE PROPERTY COMMONLY
KNOWN,AS 1266 LINDEN AVENUE, DEERFIELD
WHEREAS, Stanley B. Johnson has petitioned for a variation from the
strict provisions of the Zoning Ordiinance of the Village of Deerfield, passed
May 4, 1953, as amended, to permit a total sideyard of 12.76 feet and a
single sideyard of 2.64 fleet at 1266 Linden Avenue; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to notice duly published as required by statute,
a public hearing on said peti.tiaon was held and conducted by the Zoning Board
of Appeals of the Village of Deerfield; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has filed with the President and
Board of Trustees its written findings of. fact and recommendations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: That the findings of fact and recommendation of the
Zoning Board of Appeals is hereby concurred in and adopted
as the findings of fact of the President and Board of Trustees.
,SECTION TWO: That there are practical difficulties and particular hard-
sh.bp in the way of carrying out the strict letter of the'
provisions of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield as applied to
the petitioner's property which is legally described'as' follows:
Lot 17, Block 8, in Brani;gar Bros. Woodland Park, Township 43 North,'
Range 12, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Lake County,

SECTION THREE: That a variation from the strict provisions of Section V
of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield,
passed May 4, 1963, as amended, with respect to the property hereinabove
described is hereby granted so as to authorize a total sideyard of 12.76 feet
and a single sideyard of 2.64 feet.
SECTION FOUR: That the variation hereby granted is subject to the
condition that there be compliance by the.petitioner
with all other applicable ordinances of the Village.
SECTION FIVE: That. this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
. , and after its passage and approval, as provided by law.
