Comprehensive Amendment of the Zoning Ordinance, enacted May 4, 1953, is
hereby granted to the effect that:

permit the erection of a directional sign advertising the Deerfield State
Bank and Wilson's Food Service.
The context of the sign is to be clearly directional.
The westernmost portion of the sign must be located no less than
forty feet from the center line of Waukegan Road nor may it in any event
project over the public way.
The sign shall be two signs on one standard with a maximum area of
thirty -six square feet, no linear dimension to exceed eight feet., The overt
all height of the sign shall.not exceed sixteen feet and the sign shall have
a ten -foot clearance from grade. A clock is permitted on said sign, the
over -all height is not to exceed seventeen feet two inches.
The hours of illumination of the sign shall not exceed 11 :00 P.M.
nor be before 6 :00 A.M. and it shall be a steady light not exceeding 1000
lumens per square foot. The clock may be illuminated all night.

the Board of Zoning Appeals has held such public hearing after
due notice as required by law,
Now, Therefore, Be It Ordained by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield that a variation to the
Ordinance for the Comprehensive Amendment of the Zoning Ordinance,
enacted May 4, 1953, is hereby granted to the effect that:
