WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Plan Commission of
the Village of Deerfield on the 14th,day of February, 1963, pursuant
to notice thereof published not less than fifteen (15) days prior
thereto as required by law; and
WHEREAS, at said heraing the amendments to the zoning ordinance
set:.outtbe4owbwere considered, pursuant 'to said notice, and said
Board has recommended that the zoning amendnent set out below be
enacted:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois, that:
Section1l. The zoning ordinance of the Village, as amended, is
hereby further amended by reclassifying the following described
property from its present classification to the B -1 Business District
of the Village:,
That part of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of
Section 33, Township 43 North, Range 12, East.of the Third
Principal Meridian, described as follows:
Commencing at the southeast corner of said quarter - quarter
section;
thence westerly to the center df Telegraph Road;
thence northwesterly along the center of said road one half the
distance between the south line of said Section 33 and the intersection
of the center line of said road and the quarter - quarter section line;
thence northeasterly to a point on the east line of said quarter -
quarter section, which is 18 rods south of the northeast corner thereof;
thence south along the east line of said quarter - quarter section
to the place of beginning (except that part thereof described as follows:
Commencing at the southeast corner of said quarter - quarter section;
thence west 187.8 feet; thence North 3 degrees 51 minutes West 922.8
feet to the northerly line of said tract at a point 256.6 feet west at right
angles from the east line of said quarter - quarter section; thence north-
easterly 276.6 feet to the east line of said quarter - quarter section at
a point 18 rods south of the northeast corner thereof; thence south
along said east line 1021.2 feet to the place of beginning), in Lake
County, Illinois.
Excepting frrom said part the northwesterly 360.0 feet, measured
perpendicularly, thereof.
Section 2. The zoning ordinance of the Village, as amended, is
hereby further amended by reclassifying the following described property.:
from its present classification to the R-1 -A Single Family Residence
District of the Vi 1 lage:
The northwesterly 360.0 feet (measured perpendicularly) of the
following described tract of .land:
That part of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of
Section 33, Township 43 North, Range 12, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, described as follows:
